Junior Compliance Officer - Leading City Law Firm
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct client and matter onboarding, including CDD, risk assessments, and EDD for higher‑risk matters.
- Perform screening checks (conflicts, sanctions, PEPs, adverse media) and support ongoing monitoring.
- Liaise with legal teams to gather onboarding information and manage shared inbox requests.
- Maintain relevant compliance registers and respond to AML/onboarding queries, escalating when needed.
- Build effective working relationships with internal teams and external parties.
- Contribute to process improvements, compliance awareness activities, and general departmental support.
