Accounts Senior

Exclusive to TPF Recruitment - A well regarded independent firm of accountants based in Orpington is currently looking to recruit an Accounts Senior to join their friendly and growing team. This is a hands on role where you will support a varied portfolio of clients across a broad range of accounting services including accounts preparation, management accounts, VAT, bookkeeping, tax and general advisory work.

As you settle into the position and develop within the firm, you will gradually take on greater responsibility and become a key member of the team, reporting directly into the partner. The role offers genuine scope for progression and the opportunity to work closely with clients across a diverse range of industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
  
• Preparing corporation tax and personal tax computations and returns
  
• Delivering bookkeeping and management accounting services
  
• Preparing and reviewing quarterly VAT returns
  
• Supporting clients and colleagues with cloud accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks
  
• Maintaining and updating accurate accounting records for clients
  
• Building strong relationships with clients and providing day to day support where required
  

Requirements

Accounts Senior - Orpington

• Ideal candidates for this position will have 3+ years of general accountancy practice experience.
  
• Operating at the Accounts Semi Senior or Senior level, or equivalent, with a track record of delivering diverse accountancy practice services to clients ranging from sole traders and partnerships to limited companies.
  

Benefits

• £30,000 - £4,0000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable
  
• 20 days annual leave + bank holidays
