UK Tax Manager
Pinnacle Group are looking for a UK Tax Manager to join our Finance team on an initial 6-month fixed term contract (FTC). Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, the UK Tax Manager will complete an in-depth review of the Group’s tax base; focussing primarily on VAT and Employment Taxes in the context of a Group that has c. 20 statutory entities. The outcome of this review is likely to be a set of recommendations which, once actioned, will bring further resilience to the processes and procedures that the Group currently has in place to ensure its compliance with relevant tax legislation.
In a day-to-day context, the Tax Manager will:
- Ensure that all relevant statutory returns are compiled accurately and submitted on time.
- Liaise as appropriate with Hyde (Pinnacle’s shareholder) across any tax initiatives or projects that might be on-going at the time.
This is a hands-on role that requires both the need to be a tax specialist but also prepared to get into the weeds and own the company’s UK tax obligations.
Our Finance team is a trusted partner to the business, providing accurate financial reporting, robust controls, and strategic insight to support decision-making. We manage all core finance activities, including financial accounting, management reporting and tax compliance. The team works closely with operational leaders across the business to ensure financial integrity, optimise processes, and deliver value.
This is a hybrid role with travel once or twice a week into our Holborn Head Office. The role is paying approximately £75,000-£80,000 per annum, pro-rat’d due to the 6-month FTC.
