Graphic Designer
GRAPHIC DESIGNER
JOB TITLE: Graphic Designer
REPORTS TO: Co-head of Middle East
with a dotted line to Creative Design Lead and Group Operations Board Director
KEY OBJECTIVES: Ensure brand consistency across the business. Elevate our visual identity to ensure we stand out for our quality and unique service offering.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
We see Marketing as a key factor in our success and as a result you will receive full support from everyone across the business.
We need someone to continually help support our growth and support our very busy design team.
Founded in 2007, MRG is an international group of specialist recruitment businesses focused on leadership appointments across real estate and facilities management, development and infrastructure.
Through services including retained search, project recruitment and interim executives, we support global businesses and iconic institutions across sectors including commercial real estate, education, government, health and life sciences, heritage and culture, hospitality, infrastructure and construction, living assets and more.
Recruiting across Europe, Asia, The Middle East and India and with a resourcing office in South Africa, we’re growing rapidly. Our group also includes a growing list of single-market or single-function recruitment brands, including Bid Recruitment, University People and Schools Leadership.
We have a strong, close-knit team that works well together. While we work hard, we also value work-life balance and enjoy what we do. It’s not rocket science, but we strive for excellence (we can be a bit perfectionist!) and are always looking for ways to improve. You’ll be welcomed into the team, given the training and support you need, and challenged to grow and excel.
You'll have the opportunity to apply your creative skills while also gaining exposure to the broader aspects of marketing and operations.
Taking direction from our Creative Design Lead, you will support the design requests that come in from the wider business, which will include but are not limited to social media tiles, candidate packs, proposals and PowerPoint templates.
You should be able to work at speed without compromising quality and take initiative while thriving under pressure.
This is a practical, execution-focused role providing support to 60 sales consultants worldwide. We have a very strong brand identity which must not be compromised and must remain consistent across all of our territories.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creating client candidate packs and sales and marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite, ensuring alignment with client guidelines and specifications.
- Create visually engaging content for social media, presentations, marketing materials, and web assets.
- Assist in developing graphics for campaigns, email marketing, and online advertisements.
- Work closely with the marketing and recruitment teams to bring ideas to life.
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- Creative, inquisitive, and eager to learn and develop.
- An understanding what drives success in business.
- A qualification in Graphic Design or a related field.
- Some experience in a similar role (around two years).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), PowerPoint and Canva.
- Knowledge and experience in digital marketing.
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
- Attention to detail and a commitment to completing tasks thoroughly.
- Confident and articulate, able to communicate effectively across all levels of the business.
- Resilient and determined, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Takes initiative and thrives in a dynamic environment.
- A collaborative team player who also works independently without being micro-managed.
- Patient and composed under pressure.
- Assertive when needed.
- Motivated and goal-oriented, always striving for excellence.
- A creative thinker who brings fresh ideas and innovative solutions.
- Engaged and approachable, willing to be an active presence within the business.
