- Opportunities to go to some of our great live music or history events As part of the National Events and Venue Hire Team, you will provide operational expertise to support the effective delivery of a large-scale, high-quality programme of events across multiple historic sites. Working in close partnership with your colleagues in Events and Venue Hire, as well as Site and Procurement Teams, you will organise suppliers, equipment and logistics so events run smoothly, protect the historic setting, and meet our standards and values. You will also help create and deliver clear, consistent ways of working to ensure events are delivered efficiently and responsibly across our sites. To be considered as a National Event Planning and Logistics Officer, you'll need: - Experience in event operations and multi-site delivery, with strong logistical planning skills
- The ability to translate creative ideas into practical, deliverable solutions
- Knowledge of procurement, supplier management, and contract delivery
- Strong budget management and financial planning capability
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and resources
- Confidence coordinating equipment, storage, transport, and asset management
- The ability to develop systems, processes, and continuous improvement
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
