Job Title: Fire Damper Engineer
Location: Ilford, Greater London
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £40k DOE + Training & Benefits

Our client is a well-established Ventilation Company seeking an experienced Fire Damper Engineer to cover contracts across London / Home Counties area. Candidates will need experience within the industry as they will hit the ground running and will be conducting cleans of kitchen extract systems, testing and installing fire dampers and fitting access door. Preferably accustomed to the M25 and versatile to work on various client sites with strong technical knowledge. Experience / Qualifications:
- Experience in fire testing and remedials duties would be ideal
- Have a successful track record working as a Fire Damper Engineer
- Determined and hard-working attitude
- Great technical knowledge of BS9999 and TR19 guidelines
- Advantageous to obtained Fire Damper Testing ticket
- IT proficient with literacy & numeracy skills
- Flexible and adaptable to travel to various client sites

The Role:
- Clean ductwork, ventilation, kitchen extract, fans & canopies
- Inspect, install & test Fire Dampers
- Taking pre and post work photographs for accurate technical reports / records
- Advising and recommend to clients on required work
- Worked on commercial, healthcare, industrial & infrastructure sites
- Undertaking subsequent remedial duties, including: collars, links and TEK screws
- Fit access doors
