Nanny-Housekeeper

Job Summary:
The family is looking for support for an initial 3-month role, with the possibility of ongoing work depending on future childcare needs once their baby starts nursery. The position is for 4 days per week, 18 hours total. The focus is housekeeping and organisation, alongside daily care of two dogs (including walks in all weather) and light childcare support for their 1-year-old for short periods, plus occasional babysitting. Additional duties include simple meal prep, running errands, and being present for household appointments.
The family is informal, friendly, and busy, with two full-time working parents and a very social, excitable child. Their home is a three-level house in London, and they value someone who will feel like part of the family while confidently managing both dogs and childcare when required.

General Duties:
• Cleaning all living areas, including regular vacuuming, mopping, and tidying outdoor patio
• Family laundry, including washing, folding, putting away, and changing bed linens
• Daily care of two dogs: walking in all weather, feeding, refreshing water, wiping paws, and occasional vet/groomer visits
• Childcare support for short periods: age-appropriate, screen-free play, snacks or meals, and occasional babysitting
• Simple meal prep for the family and child
• Running local errands and being present for household/vendor appointments

Candidate Requirements:
• Proactive and takes pride in maintaining a clean, well-run home
• Confident handling two dogs, including one large dog, and happy walking them in all weather
• Comfortable managing dogs and child at the same time when all are at home (not walking dogs while caring for the child)
• Warm, child-friendly, and able to switch easily between housekeeping and childcare
• Experience in a similar role
• Reliable and positive with a genuine love for dogs and children
