SEN Teaching Assistant - Lambeth
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Lambeth. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other complex needs.
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Lambeth
Pay: £90-£95 per day
Start: Immediate / ASAP
About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who have ASD and additional complex needs. You will support their learning, encourage engagement, and assist with personal care where required. You will be part of a committed SEN team, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for every child.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with ASD and complex needs
Assist with daily routines and learning activities
Support with personal care, including toileting and feeding
Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored support plans
Promote a positive and encouraging learning environment
Requirements:
Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role
A caring, patient, and resilient approach
Willingness to undertake personal care duties
Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
