Part-time Housekeeper-Cook in TW11, Job ID J1E50C
A lovely family based in Teddington, London, is seeking a reliable Part-time Housekeeper Cook to keep their home clean, tidy, and well-organised. The ideal candidate will be confident in handling laundry tasks (minimal ironing, mainly sports clothes) and preparing batch meals. The family is flexible with the working days and hours, as long as the role is carried out on weekdays during the day. As they already employ a cleaner, this position will involve minimal deep cleaning, focusing instead on maintaining organisation and keeping the household clutter-free. Cooking is a key part of this role.
Working hours : 3 days a week - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (but flexible)
Duties include:
- Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of a private household
- Carry out regular floor care, including sweeping, hoovering, and mopping
- Prepare and cook healthy, balanced meals for the family
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a neat and well-presented home
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, including sinks, bathtubs, showers, and toilets
- Oversee the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring all areas are tidy and hygienic
- Wash, dry, and neatly organise clothing, towels, and household linens
- Manage all laundry-related tasks, including ironing, folding, and putting items away
- Make beds and change bed linen as required
- Clean and organise dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
