Brand Content & Social Media Editor
We are looking for a Brand Content and Social Media Editor to join our Brand Creative and Communications Team. This opportunity will see you focus on developing and delivering our content strategy across all channels, from social media and email to seasonal storytelling and promotional concepts playing a pivotal role in continuing to shape the Whistle’s brand voice and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
In this role, key accountabilities include:
- Driving customer engagement by developing content that attracts new Whistles customers and keeps existing ones coming back
- Creating compelling and engaging social media posts, emails, product descriptions, blog posts and editorial pieces that showcase our Whistles products and our brand story
- Continuing to coach and inspire the Junior Content and Social Media Editor, ensuring consistency and quality of our messaging
- Keeping up with fashion trends, pop culture, and emerging voices to inform content strategy
- Using data-driven decision making to understand the Whistles customer behaviour and optimize content for success
About You
This is a great opportunity for a strong storyteller with exceptional writing skills who is looking for that next step in their career. Proficiency in using social media platforms and understanding the nuances of content creation for different channels is key in this role as is knowledge of SEO best practices and using data to create enriched copy. Advanced writing and sub-editing skills is required in this role.
