Description

• Lead the strategic development and maintenance of finance systems to meet the organisation's operational needs.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure finance systems align with organisational objectives.
• Oversee system upgrades, migrations, and integrations while minimising disruption to daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies through effective system controls.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on the use of finance systems to enhance efficiency.
• Analyse system performance and recommend improvements to optimise functionality.
• Work closely with IT and external vendors to address technical issues and implement solutions.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support strategic decision–making.

Profile

A successful Head of Finance Systems should have:

• Proven expertise in managing and optimising finance systems within a professional setting.
• MUST HAVE UNIT4 AGRESSO
• MUST have leadership experience
• Must have solid ERP exposure
• A strong understanding of accounting and finance principles, particularly within the not–for–profit sector.
• Experience in leading system implementation and integration projects.
• Excellent problem–solving skills with a focus on delivering effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non–technical stakeholders.
• A detail–oriented approach to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial operations.
