S&OP Director
Job Description

This role is at the heart of driving regional responses to global S&OP processes, ensuring supply plans are both feasible and resilient. As a senior decision-maker, shape supply allocation strategies, manage excess inventory, and provide cross-regional support. Represent the region in global forums and collaborate with peers to shape SIP strategy, offering leadership and strategic decision-making authority!
Core Responsibilities
The director of S&OP is accountable for the following:
- Leading regional response to global S&OP processes
- Ensuring feasibility, balanced and resilient supply plans
- Senior decision maker for
- Supply allocation in line with seasonal plan
- Cross regional support
- Excess inventory management
- Representing the region in global forums
- Shaping SIP strategy in collaboration with peers globally
Ultimately the role is about providing TLG leadership, strategic decision-making authority and representation of the region in global processes.
Play your part in our team succeeding
The EMEA SIP team works closely with BUs, Demand Planning and packing sites to make products available on time to support commercial plans. This involves developing production strategies to handle uncertainty in demand, as well as supply chain constraints to deliver the best possible availability, whilst minimising inventory obsolescence exposure.
The role supports the Head of SIP, providing leadership of S&OP, excess and cross flow processes across the region and with global alignment. Key is ensuring feasibility of supply plans to support commercial ambition whilst simultaneously driving accountability to minimise financial risks, including regional level stock provisions.
Do you have what it takes
The ideal candidate comes with more than a decade of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management or S&OP with at least 3 years in senior leadership.
Moreover, they come with:
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex, global environments.
- Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills with experience balancing short term execution and long-term business goals.
- Strong communication skills: Can convey clearly complex problems and solutions to a diverse audience.
- Great teammate: Collaborative style, yet able to stand their ground.
- Resilience: Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure.
- Strong analytical capabilities and enjoys working with numbers.
- Innovative & Curious: Able to find new ways of doing things, whilst seeking first to understand why things are as they are
- Knowledge of planning tools, such as SAP APO and Excel/Power BI.
The position is based in London, UK and relocation support is not offered for this role.
