ENSEK

About ENSEK

ENSEK builds cloud‑native SaaS software that’s transforming how energy retailers operate, innovate, and scale.

ENSEK Flex is a new product line within ENSEK, created to bring people into an electrified, net‑zero world. Our mission is to make electrification mass‑market by building the simplest, smartest system for managing home energy devices — including solar panels, batteries, EVs, and heat pumps.

We are a B2B platform serving energy companies, with a strong focus on creating seamless consumer experiences and lowering energy costs through whole‑home optimisation. ENSEK Flex combines ENSEK’s market‑leading platform with flexible energy technology to support the most complex customer use cases.

We operate a hybrid working model, with 2–3 days per week in the office and the remainder remote, balancing flexibility with strong team collaboration.

Position Summary

The Product Manager role sits within ENSEK Flex and is responsible for product management within the Grow team. The Grow team’s ambition is to be the platform that enables partners to scale and accelerate their electrified offerings. You’ll focus on building products that make home energy device onboarding, activation, and management as easy and scalable as possible.

You’ll work within a multidisciplinary product team, collaborating closely with engineering, data, and design. This role requires comfort operating in ambiguity, setting direction where it doesn’t yet fully exist, and balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Define and refine product vision, strategy, and roadmap in collaboration with leadership and cross‑functional partners.

  • Set clear goals, hypotheses, and success measures, ensuring the team prioritises work that delivers the greatest impact.

  • Lead product discovery, identifying customer pain points, validating opportunities, and shaping strategy using customer insight and competitive intelligence.

  • Turn data into insight by conducting research, analysing usage and market trends, and synthesising findings to maintain a customer‑centric focus.

  • Work closely with engineering, data, and design, advocating for your product and supporting effective delivery.

  • Communicate product plans, progress, and trade‑offs clearly to internal and external stakeholders, building long‑term strategic relationships.

  • Adopt AI‑enabled tools to improve productivity, analyse usage, explore opportunities, and accelerate PRDs, specifications, and early prototypes.

  • Contribute to ENSEK’s wider product community, sharing learning and helping raise the standard of product practice.

Key Outcomes

  • Clear product direction and roadmap aligned to ENSEK Flex’s growth ambitions.

  • Products that enable partners to onboard, activate, and manage electrified home devices effectively at scale.

  • Measurable improvement in customer and partner outcomes through data‑led prioritisation and experimentation.

  • Strong cross‑functional collaboration resulting in efficient, high‑quality delivery.

  • Stakeholders aligned around product strategy, progress, and decision‑making.

  • Effective adoption of AI tools to enhance product thinking and delivery.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager working in ambiguous, evolving environments, ideally within a B2B or B2B2C SaaS business.

  • Strong communication skills, able to bring stakeholders along through testing, iteration, and learning.

  • Experience using data, experimentation, and hypothesis‑led approaches to inform decisions.

  • Experience leading cross‑functional teams (engineering, data, design) and influencing without direct authority.

  • Strong design intuition and UX/UI awareness, with experience prototyping or shaping early solutions.

  • Interest in AI tooling, with experience using them to accelerate product development.

Company Benefits

  • 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays

  • Option to buy or sell 5 extra annual leave days per year

  • Vitality Health Insurance, including private healthcare, virtual GP access, mental‑health support and wellbeing perks (50% off gym memberships -Virgin Active, Nuffield, PureGym)

  • Pension with 5% matched contribution
