Head of Validation

Job Details

My client is one of the leading Insurers in the market and is looking to appoint someone to head up model validation - providing support to the Head of Risk and CRO. Reporting into senior finance/risk leadership, you'll design and stand up the validation framework, set standards for model governance, and present findings directly to committees and the Board.We're looking for a qualified actuary with a strong grounding in model validation or model risk within an insurance carrier, comfortable working independently and pushing back on the status quo. This is a genuine opportunity to define how validation is done in a growing business, backed by a strong package (base, bonus, equity.)
