Global Head of WG&S Brand Academy

Willliam Grant & Son
Richmond, Greater London

Job Introduction

The Global Head of the WG&S Brand Academy will be responsible for designing and developing a world-class Brand Academy that delivers exceptional marketing capability across William Grant & Sons and its partners. This individual will be an accomplished marketeer and brand builder, with a proven track record in the premium spirits sector, broader drinks industry, or FMCG.

Main Responsibility

The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in building brands of enduring fame and value, and will be passionate about embedding the William Grant Way of Building Brands—ensuring harmonisation and transformation in marketing frameworks, processes, and skills across global teams. Experience in developing and deploying marketing competency frameworks, as well as leading the creation of proprietary tools and training modules, is essential for driving organisational capability and growth.

Our Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will demonstrate high productivity and exemplary leadership, able to manage and influence a diverse range of internal stakeholders and external partners without direct authority. They will be adept at managing vendors, scheduling complex projects, and leading by example as a champion of the WG&S approach to brand building. As an ambassador for the Brand Academy, this person will inspire a culture of continuous learning, drive the adoption of best-in-class marketing practices, and ensure the highest standards are upheld in every market. The role requires a strategic thinker who can measure and track capability impact, communicate progress effectively, and foster a global community of marketing excellence.
