Mobile Mechanic – Service, Maintenance & Repair
Join the team and help us go places. As a Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance & Repair division you will bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to customers – from driveways to office car parks – without the constraints of a traditional garage. From day one you’ll be equipped with your own company van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and a diagnostic kit.
What You’ll Do
- Perform on‑site servicing, diagnostics, repairs and checks on a variety of light vehicles.
- Provide friendly, professional advice to customers and represent the organisation with pride.
- Manage your own stock of parts and consumables, and complete required reporting.
- Adapt quickly to a range of situations, making the right decisions for each customer.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment while on the road.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 2 light‑vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years’ hands‑on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points .
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
- Ability to think on your feet and manage a varied workload.
Working Conditions
- Full‑time, 40 hours per week with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm .
- One in four Saturdays worked on a rotating basis.
- Monday–Saturday availability (8 am–8 pm) to meet customer needs.
- Company‑provided van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic equipment.

- Competitive base salary of £45,378 (inclusive of London weighting, if applicable) with on‑target earnings up to £57,000.
- Guaranteed overtime option after the first month – £30 per hour for extra rest‑day work (potentially £3,000–£5,000 extra per year).
