We are a multi-award winning business - we went live in February 2023, have coverage across the BBC , Sky News and ITV, and are now the market leader - we’re already selling our product in 35 councils across the UK.

What we’re doing

At the moment many people without driveways are putting off getting an electric car because they can’t charge at home - we’ve created both hardware and software to solve this problem.

We’re building a hyper-local charger-sharing network using domestic supplies. We build local authority partnerships and then install our patented through-pavement channel into the pavement outside residents' homes so they can charge using their own supply.

Once set up they can share their charger with other residents on their street using our sharing app. This gives residents in the UK and globally the confidence to sell their petrol / diesel car and move to electric.

Requirements

As Growth Marketer at Kerbo Charge, you’ll own how we grow — from awareness to revenue.

Your mission is to experiment relentlessly across online and offline channels, find what actually works, and then double down to drive scale in the UK (and beyond). You’ll blend strategy, hands-on execution, and strong storytelling to position Kerbo Charge as the authority in on-street EV charging.

You’ll lead growth across B2C and you'll also own our content and press releases— writing smart, credible content that builds trust with councils, partners, press, and EV drivers alike.

Your responsibilities

Growth & experimentation

  • Design, run, and analyse growth experiments across channels (content, partnerships, paid, organic, offline, PR).
  • Identify winning channels and messages, then scale what works and kill what doesn’t.
  • Own performance across the full funnel — from awareness to conversion — using data to guide decisions.

Content, social & PR

  • Create high-quality written content across:
    • organic social media (in collaboration with our social content creators)
    • blog posts and thought leadership
    • newsletters
    • press releases and media commentary
  • Together with our social content creators, manage and grow our organic social presence, increasing reach, engagement, and credibility.
  • Help establish Kerbo Charge founders and team as credible voices in EV charging and sustainable transport.

Experience we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in growth marketing and performance marketing with Meta and Google.
  • Strong copywriting skills — you can write clearly, persuasively, and confidently for:
    • social
    • press
    • partners
    • customers
  • Experience growing organic social media accounts with meaningful engagement.
  • Comfortable analysing performance metrics and turning insights into action.
  • Creative, proactive, and curious — you like testing ideas, not waiting for perfect answers.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to juggle multiple initiatives.
  • Comfortable working with strategic partners
