Teacher of Music - Outstanding Harrow Secondary School

We are excited to be working with an Outstanding secondary school in Harrow to recruit a high-calibre Music Teacher. This full-time, permanent position is available for an ASAP start. We are looking for an inspirational practitioner who can encourage a deep love for the varied riches of music tradition while helping students achieve their highest potential in both performance and composition.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging Music lessons across KS3 and KS4 (with KS5 for experienced candidates)

• Lead and contribute to a vibrant extracurricular programme, including choirs and ensembles

• Foster a desire in students to explore diverse musical genres and history

• Support the development of consistently outstanding quality in school performances and concerts

• Participate in a strong culture of professional development within a creative faculty

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Music and QTS (or equivalent)

• High standards of professional presentation and musical expertise

• Must have the right to work in the UK

Salary and Benefits

• Salary Range: £34,514 to £51,179

• Full-time, permanent contract with an immediate start
