KS1 Teacher - Primary School in Redbridge
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and committed KS1 Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive Primary School in Redbridge. This is a fixed-term position for one year, starting ASAP, ideal for an experienced teacher who is enthusiastic about leading Religious Education alongside their classroom teaching responsibilities.

- Working Pattern: Full Time, Term Time Only
- Salary: Dependent on experience (MPS/UPS)
- Suitable for: Experienced teachers (not suitable for ECTs)
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated teacher to take on this dual role, combining classroom teaching in KS1.
Some of our KS1 pupils are working at EYFS level and have additional needs, meaning elements of EYFS practice will be an important part of your teaching approach. You will work within a collaborative team that values creativity, inclusion, and high expectations for all pupils.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality, engaging lessons for KS1 pupils
- Incorporating EYFS strategies where appropriate to support pupils working below age-related expectations
- Supporting and challenging pupils with additional needs to ensure progress for all
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment
- Building positive relationships with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community
- Contributing to the school’s ethos, values, and ongoing development
What We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from teachers who can demonstrate:
- QTS with proven classroom teaching experience (MPS/UPS)
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and EYFS practice
- High expectations for all pupils, with a commitment to inclusion and equity
- Excellent classroom management, organisation, and communication skills
- A reflective, motivated, and collaborative approach to teaching and leadership
