The Role

As an M&E Services Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of building services across a portfolio of projects, from initial enquiry through to handover and aftercare.

Specifically, you will manage the successful integration and delivery of MEP services, ensuring that our supply chain consistently meets the highest standards of health and safety, quality, and programme compliance.

Your expertise will also be key in developing detailed commissioning programmes and leading the commissioning process to guarantee the seamless integration and performance of all building services.

In addition, you will take responsibility for coordinating all utilities installations and liaising with statutory authorities, working closely with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth project delivery in line with the Inter-Departmental Integration of Activities Schedule.

About You

To be considered as an M&E Services Manager (Mechanically Biased), you will need to demonstrate:

  • Experience managing commissioning processes and utilities coordination
  • Proven experience delivering complex projects, ideally within heritage buildings and large-scale schemes
  • Extensive MEP technical knowledge with the ability to interrogate designs and resolve potential issues
  • Strong understanding of how MEP integrates with the wider building programme and fabric
  • Working knowledge of health and safety legislation and safe working practices
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to assess subcontractor submissions and manage costs effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build strong relationships
  • The ability to obtain/maintain CSCS accreditation
  • Qualifications appropriate to the role
