We are seeking a dynamic and strategic, experienced Senior Brand Managerto lead the brand agenda in France, a priority market for GPN. This role is pivotal in driving brand growth through the development and execution of compelling, insight-led marketing strategies and campaigns that resonate with French consumers and deliver commercial impact. This is a unique opportunity to actively shape a winning growth strategy in an extremely dynamic category, for a priority region for the wider business.
Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy & Execution
Lead the development and implementation of the brand strategy for France, ensuring alignment with global/ international plans while tailoring to local market dynamics and consumer insights. Lead measurement of delivery against this brand strategy. - Integrated Marketing Campaigns
Conceptualise and deliver stand-out, 360° marketing campaigns that deliver against the consumer jobs to be done in the region —from creative development through to execution across paid, owned, and earned channels, including media, digital, and in-store activations. - Media Strategy & Performance
Drive the media strategy for France with a strong focus on digital and social channels. Leverage performance marketing principles to optimise reach, engagement, and ROI, ensuring media plans are data-driven, measurable, and aligned with campaign objectives. - Creative Development & Storytelling
Own the creative development process and brand storytelling for France—from concept through to activation—ensuring all communications are compelling, impactful, locally relevant, and consistently on-brand across all touchpoints. This will involve some local market creation work and some global adaptation work. - Product Launches
Lead the planning and execution of product launches in the French market, ensuring cross-functional alignment and flawless delivery across all consumer and customer-facing channels. - Advocacy & Influencer Strategy
Own and drive the brand’s advocacy strategy in France, identifying and activating hero athletes and brand ambassadors to managing micro-influencer partnerships that build authentic consumer connections
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with local sales and commercial teams to ensure brand plans are commercially viable and effectively executed in-market, driving both brand equity and business performance. - Budget Management
Oversee marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and strong ROI within the agreed budgets and timely invoice management
The Skills you will bring to the team
- Proven experience in brand management within FMCG, retail, or consumer-focused industries.
- Deep understanding of the French market and consumer behaviour.
- Demonstrated success in leading integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Strong creative judgment and experience in storytelling and content development.
- A social/ digital-first thinker, expert in creating digital stand out and conversation.
- Experience in influencer marketing and advocacy strategy development.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret information and use that to shape future plans
- Self-Starter, highly motivated and solutions-oriented
- Agile mindset, able to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for the industry
- Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken) with at least working proficiency in Italian preferred
