Senior QA Engineer
About TFY
TFY is a global HR and workforce platform helping companies, NGOs, and agencies hire, manage, and pay talent across borders. We combine HR Tech, FinTech, and compliance into one platform that supports modern workforce models—from global contractors and Employer of Record (EOR) services to mission-driven organisations.
Our platform includes AI-powered recruitment, Applicant Tracking (ATS), HRMS, contractor and vendor management, Employer of Record (EOR), Agent of Record (AOR), invoicing, self-billing, multi-currency and cryptocurrency payouts, and payment integrations.
Quality is at the heart of everything we build. We process financial transactions, manage sensitive personal data, and support business-critical workflows used by Clients, Partners, Members, and Administrators across more than 180 countries.
We're looking for a Senior QA Engineer to help ensure every release is reliable, secure, and delivers an outstanding user experience.
The Role
As a Senior QA Engineer, you'll own product quality and release confidence across the TFY platform.
Working closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and DevOps, you'll help ensure new features are thoroughly tested, risks are identified early, and releases meet a consistently high quality standard.
You'll combine manual, exploratory, functional, API, integration, regression, mobile, and automated testing to validate both new functionality and existing business-critical workflows.
Beyond testing individual features, you'll help improve our QA processes, testing strategy, release readiness, and overall quality culture as the platform continues to grow.
If you enjoy solving complex problems, uncovering edge cases, and helping teams deliver software with confidence, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Own Quality & Release Confidence
- Own test planning and execution for major features and product releases.
- Design risk-based test coverage for business-critical functionality.
- Define and maintain release readiness criteria across development, staging, and production environments.
- Identify release risks early and provide clear recommendations before deployment.
- Continuously improve QA standards, documentation, and testing processes.
Perform End-to-End Testing
- Validate end-to-end Partner, Member, Client, and Administrator journeys.
- Test recruitment, ATS, AI-powered candidate scoring, onboarding, HRMS, invoicing, self-billing, payment methods, payouts, reconciliation, permissions, and third-party integrations.
- Perform manual, exploratory, regression, functional, integration, API, cross-browser, and mobile testing.
- Validate business rules, workflows, permissions, integrations, and data integrity.
- Reproduce reported issues, verify fixes, and maintain regression coverage for high-risk functionality.
Collaborate & Improve
- Write clear, structured bug reports with reproducible steps, severity, priority, and business impact.
- Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to clarify requirements, acceptance criteria, and release expectations.
- Contribute to UI and API automation where it provides measurable value.
- Improve QA environments, test data, documentation, and release processes.
- Promote a quality-first mindset across Product and Engineering.
What You'll Bring
Required

- Experience working within Agile software development teams.
- Excellent written English for bug reports and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise work under release deadlines.
- Experience working with CI/CD and automated testing workflows, including the ability to understand existing unit and integration test coverage, interpret automated test results and failures, and contribute to UI/E2E test automation.
Nice to Have
- Experience with FinTech, HR Tech, ATS, payroll, workforce management, or marketplace platforms.
- Experience testing payment providers, financial transactions, reconciliation, or multi-currency payments.
- Experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android.
