Registered Veterinary Nurse

About Us:
Our practice offers a wide range of veterinary services, including:
- Anaesthesia, Biochemistry, Blood Pressure Monitoring
- Cruciate Surgery, Dentistry, Digital X-ray, Echocardiography
- Haematology and In-House Laboratory
- Health Plans, Hospital Ward, Isolation Unit, Microchipping, Nurse Clinics
- Operating Theatre, Orthopaedics, Pet Passports/Animal Health Certificates
- Ultrasound and X-ray facilities
Our team consists of 4 vets, 3 RVNs, 1 SVN, 2 VCAs, and 3 Receptionists. We pride ourselves on providing a supportive environment not just for our clients, but for each other as well.
About the Role:
As an RVN in our busy practice, your role will vary between Kennel Nurse , Ops Nurse , and Consult Nurse depending on the shift. Operations take place daily, so were looking for someone comfortable with a fast-paced, varied environment. An interest in clinical coaching is advantageous but not essential.
Hours of Work:
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- No OOHs
- 1:5 weekends
- Weekday shifts: 8:30 am 5:00 pm, 11:00 am 7:30 pm, 9:30 am 6:00 pm (on a rota)
- After working a weekend, your next shift will be Monday to Wednesday, 9:30 am 6:30 pm, with Thursday and Friday off for a great work-life balance!
What We Offer:
- Salary : £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
- CPD Allowance : £500 to support your professional development
- Work-Life Balance : Full-time role with no OOHs and only 1 weekend shift in 5
