Senior Data Governance Analyst - Informatica - London (hybrid / remote)
Overview

This role is pivotal in implementing our Data Strategy Action Plan improving data quality and maximizing the value of data and analytics across the organization. Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Governance Analyst you will:
- Lead the enterprise deployment of Informatica Cloud Data Governance Catalogue (IDMC) including configuration and implementation across business units.
- Embed data ownership and accountability within the organization working closely with Data Management colleagues and business units.
- Support the identification and documentation of Key Data Elements (KDEs) metadata tagging data lineage and data quality controls.
- Collaborate with Heads of Data to identify and mitigate data risks implement robust controls and develop comprehensive remediation plans.
- Drive the adoption of master and reference data management practices.
- Facilitate Data Forums and Working Groups to align data strategies across the organization.
- Foster strong professional relationships across the data community to ensure alignment with the Group Data Framework and policies.
Qualifications
To excel in this role you should have:
- Proven experience in delivering Data Management and Data Governance initiatives.
- Expertise in implementing data governance tools such as Informatica Cloud Data Governance Catalogue (IDMC).
- Strong understanding of data ownership data quality and metadata management.
- Experience working in a matrix management environment.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to deliver pragmatic business-focused solutions.
Day-to-Day
Your typical day will involve:
- Collaborating with business units to embed data governance practices and ensure compliance with data policies.
- Supporting the discovery and documentation of critical data elements data lineage and quality controls.
- Driving the operational adoption of new data tools and capabilities across the organization.
- Monitoring and assessing the progress of data management initiatives through clear metrics and outcomes.
- Facilitating discussions in Data Forums and Working Groups to align on data strategies and best practices.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with Heads of Data and other key stakeholders.
