Finance Director

Finance Director – Charity or non–profit experience needed – Central London / Hybrid – up to GBP100k

We're looking for a fully qualified Finance Director, with c5 years PQE experience and experience working at Charity / Non–Profit organisation in a broad financial leadership role, to join a successful organisation in Central London .

The Finance Director will lead all areas of the finance and facilities teams and will be an active member of the board.

Key responsibilities as the Finance Director will include:

• Leading and managing the finance team, leading all areas including group statutory and management reporting
• Overseeing the facilities team
• As a key member of the Board, actively contribute to strategic discussions giving accurate financial insights
• Reviewing, developing and improving financial polices, procedures and processes
• Overseeing the preparation and review of monthly management accounts
• Leading the preparation of statutory financial accounts for all Group entities
• Leading end–to–end budgeting and forecasting processes
• Managing, forecasting and reporting
• Overseeing the development, implementation and improvement of financial systems

What we're looking for:

• Fully qualified Finance Director with 5+ years PQE
• Experience at a charity / non–profit organisation is essential
• Experienced in leading a finance team
• Experience in overseeing the facilities department
• A strong, hands–on leader with the capability to determine financial strategies
• A growth mindset with good commercial acumen and and intellectual curiosity
• Experience of understanding the commercial implications of all financial data
• Strong and effective communication skills with the ability to communicate complex issues professionally
• A curious mindset with the ability to spot and investigate risks
• Ability to make recommendations for business focused solutions
• Experienced in using financial management systems and tools
• Experience in systems improvement and implementation
• A proactive, results–driven self–starter
