The Opportunity:

IntentHQ are at the start of building out a next generation data + AI platform for collating and analysing extremely granular behavioural intent data across web and mobile data. We are currently looking for an experienced Infrastructure focused engineer to shape our task of integrating data from a variety of SDKs and building out a rock solid Infrastructure that makes handling large amounts of data as boring as possible.

What will you do:

• Architect and implement infrastructure running 24/7, supporting ingestion of data initially from an extremely successful privacy-focused mobile telemetry product.

• Give input to the AI + Data software teams as they build out an ML system on top of the infrastructure.

• Take part in building out an SRE culture across our Infrastructure teams and building systems that identify problems before they impact customers.

• Have a plan for onboarding existing systems and customers onto the new system

• Be part of maturing Release and Deployment processes across the company.

• Optimise the costs of running our infrastructure and how we can reuse as much as possible.

• General operational support.

What We’re Looking For:

• Essential

  • 3+ years of experience in Software/Infrastructure engineering roles.

  • Experience with at least one of the major public clouds (We mostly use AWS)

  • Awareness of how infrastructure + platform decisions impact downstream systems.

  • Hands on usage of Kubernetes + Containers + Terraform

  • Hands-on experience with Kafka + Infrastructure Deployments.

  • Scripting/Software experience using Python

• Desired but not essential.

  • Familiarity with Databricks

  • Familiarity with Openshift

  • Experience in an Infrastructure Team supporting high scale data/ML applications.
