Nursery Assistant
We are currently, seeking a qualified, experienced, and passionate Nursery Assistant to join our amazing nursery on a fulltime, permanent basis. The nursery is situated in a spacious, vibrant building with a great range of facilities for the children and staff.
The nursery is in the borough of Haringey and has a great commuting options with the closest station being East Finchley Underground Station via the Jubilee Line, as well local buses.
The position details.

- Position - Fulltime
- Pay - 11.50- 13.50.
- Hours - 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm.
- Days - Between, Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating a safe and engaging environment for children.
- Supervise and interact with children during playtime and activities.
- Assist with feeding, diapering, and maintaining cleanliness in the nursery.
- Collaborate with other Nursery staff to plan and implement age-appropriate activities.
- Monitor children's behaviour and report any concerns to the Nursery Supervisor
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress.
To be considered for this role you must have the following.
- Have a childcare qualification level 2 or higher.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written communication)
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Have a clear enhanced D.B.S.
- The right to work in the UK.
