Business Development Representative - London
NORNORM is a fast-growing circular scale-up redefining the workspace industry through a subscription model that’s better for people, businesses, and the planet.
As we expand across multiple European markets, we’re looking for ambitious Business Development Representatives! This role is for someone who wants to learn how business really happens: through conversations, trust, and long-term relationships.
This isn’t a classic cold-calling job!
Yes, you’ll do outbound outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn), but what you’re really building is a skillset most people never fully master:
Starting high-quality conversations with people you’ve never met
Turning “not interested” into “let’s talk”
Building relationships with founders and decision-makers in tech and innovation-driven companies
Creating opportunities that turn into real partnerships and long-term clients
Building a personal network that will follow you throughout your career
Is this role for you?
There are multiple paths into this role. We imagine that you are:
Early in your career and ready to build strong commercial skills fast
Coming from hospitality or another customer-facing role where you’ve learned how to read people and build rapport.
Ambitious, curious, and interested in a future within business development, partnerships, or commercial roles
What you’ll be doing
Identify relevant companies and reach out via phone, email, and LinkedIn
Qualify leads, follow up, and book meetings that actually matter
Own your pipeline end-to-end from day one
Work closely with Sales and Customer Success
Collaborate with - and occasionally travel to - colleagues across Europe (offices in Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Copenhagen & Stockholm)
What we’re looking for
Ambitious, curious, and a fast learner
Confident speaking with new people and able to build trust quickly
Proactive - you don’t wait for opportunities, you create them
Structured and consistent in your follow-up
Thrives in a performance-driven environment
We hire people with ambition and curiosity. This role provides a strong foundation, real responsibility, and broad exposure to grow with the business and shape your next steps over time.
We value flexibility, but please note that this is an office-first role with an expectation of being on-site at least four days per week.
Why join NORNORM?
Most of all because this job is a career accelerator. But also:
The salary is competitive and contains a performance-based bonus.
Extensive personal and professional development opportunities
We have a high-trust culture where initiative is rewarded
We’re building something that genuinely makes an impact
Essentially, joining NORNORM means being part of something bigger: scaling circularity across the workspace industry while growing in an environment that values curiosity, courage, and collaboration.
A note on your application:
We run a structured recruitment process and review all candidates based on their application.
You don’t need a flawless CV or a perfectly polished application. We value authenticity and would much rather hear your own voice than something overly scripted! Please apply via the application form and include a short cover letter outlining your motivation.
If you have any questions, you’re welcome to reach out to [email protected]. Please note that we’re unable to accommodate individual chats outside the application process.
