Location: Newham Pay: £90 - £105 per day Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm Start Date: ASAP

A warm and inclusive primary school in Newham is looking for a caring and committed Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children with special educational needs (SEN) and help them thrive in their early years.

What You'll Be Doing as an Early Years Teaching Assistant :

Providing personalised morning support for children with SEMH needs, including ADHD and emotional challenges

Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment where all children can feel valued

Working alongside teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored interventions and learning plans

Offering flexible afternoon support across Key Stage 1 and 2 , based on classroom needs

Building trusting relationships with pupils, encouraging their emotional and social development

Assisting with nappy changing and other personal care when required

What We're Looking For:

Experience in an Early Years or Nursery setting (preferred)

Comfortable with personal care tasks , including nappy changing

A proactive and resilient attitude, with a genuine love for working with children

Knowledge of SEN , safeguarding , and child protection procedures

Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
