Share Schemes Tax Manager

Job Details

A great role in an amazing team - would particularly suit a mixed tax candidate looking for a move from a regional firm to central London.

The ideal candidate would have experience dealing with share schemes (both implementation and planning for them, as well as annual reporting) and would look to take ownership of allocated jobs as well as supporting junior team members. Experience with EIS and S/EIS applications and advisory work is also desirable.

In this role, you will:

• Assist with calculations, advice and reporting requirements in respect of:
• Share scheme annual reporting (ERS and EMI40 returns).
• Share schemes: review qualifying status for tax-advantaged schemes, advising on tax implications of providing options to staff/consultants, prepare valuations and undertake the relevant compliance requirements.
• Support the Tax team in all areas of compliance and advisory work across all taxes, principally share schemes and the Enterprise Investment Scheme, but also including income tax, capital gains tax and corporation tax.
• Enterprise Investment Scheme: review the qualifying status of companies, prepare advance assurances and assist with preparation of the relevant compliance statements.
