Finance Analyst - Africa & Middle East

Willliam Grant & Son
Richmond, Greater London

Job Introduction

This is an exciting opportunity to join our BBU Finance team and play a key role in supporting the financial performance of the Africa and Middle East region. You’ll work closely with market teams and commercial partners to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, helping the business make confident, informed decisions. This role offers variety, regional exposure and the chance to contribute to shaping how we operate as we embed the William Grants Way across the business.

Main Responsibility

You will support monthly financial processes across the region, ensuring accurate management accounts, A&P tracking, customer discount analysis and timely month‑end reporting. You’ll help coordinate planning cycles — including budget, forecasts and other key submissions — ensuring all data is aligned, consistent and delivered on time. Working closely with the commercial team, you will provide insight, challenge performance and support monthly business reviews. A key part of the role will be maintaining data integrity across Hyperion, IFS and Power BI, ensuring systems, reports and costing processes run smoothly and reliably. You will also contribute to improving regional processes, support governance and compliance, and provide ad hoc analysis that supports the regional leadership agenda.

Our Ideal Candidate

You will bring strong analytical skills and attention to detail. You enjoy working with different systems, solving problems and helping teams understand financial information clearly. You are comfortable managing deadlines, working with stakeholders across markets and supporting multiple priorities. A proactive mindset and a willingness to learn will help you thrive, along with the confidence to challenge numbers and contribute insight that strengthens decision‑making.

What we can offer you

  • We offer a competitive salary and benefits which are designed to promote our employees financial wellbeing. Employees are also eligible to participate in a bonus plan.
  • Our employees enjoy a generous holiday entitlement and an opportunity to ‘buy’ or ‘sell’ some holiday entitlement.
  • Private Healthcare and Doctor@Hand (remote GP service).
  • Our employees can join a defined contribution pension plan. Employees contribute either 4% or 5% of salary, the company contributes 8% or 10% depending on the employee contribution. Employee contributions can be made through salary sacrifice.
  • Our Employee Assistance Programme offers practical, impartial support on everyday matters ranging from medical, financial and legal to home and family issues.
  • Our Life Assurance cover is a multiple of eight times your annual basic salary.
  • Product allocation so that you can enjoy our fantastic portfolio of brands.
  • Our Cycle to Work scheme allows you to hire a bike for an agreed length of time, and then snap it up for a fraction of its original value. All while making savings (at least 25%) and spreading the cost.
  • Every employee has the opportunity to claim up to £1,000 per year for a charity or charities for which they have raised money, volunteered their time or personally donated.
  • Learning resources to help you be your best self.
