The Front of House Captain will support the General Manager in driving sales, maintaining brand standards and creating a positive, high energy team environment.
What you’ll do
Leadership & Coaching
• Deliver daily briefings and provide real time, on shift coaching to build skills and confidence within the Front of House team
• Keep energy levels high during peak times and use quieter shifts for focused 1-to-1 coaching and development
Performance Management
• Update weekly team boards with performance metrics and set or adjust individual waiter targets based on data
• Identify and act on opportunities to drive sales and service results
• Support with performance management and train fellow Front of House Captains
Planning & Organisation
• Assist with the weekly rota planning
• Check the weekly cleaning records and escalate any issues
Guest Experience
• Role model excellent service on every shift
• Show best practice in upselling, menu knowledge, and speed of service
• Support the team in handling guest complaints or queries with confidence and professionalism
Team Engagement
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and energetic team culture
• Celebrate successes, both individual and team-wide
• Support the onboarding of new team members and help them thrive

As part of this role there will be the opportunity to earn more from a role-specific sales incentive running until the end of December.
