Senior Account Handler - International Property
Experience: 7+ years | Division: International Property
Join a leading global insurance and reinsurance broker, supporting the Worldwide Property Division on complex open market placements, including multi-layered and catastrophe-exposed programmes. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Handler to take ownership of international accounts and work closely with brokers, underwriters, and clients across global markets.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day client servicing from submission to invoicing, ensuring seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
Prepare renewal presentations, open market reform contracts, endorsements, and adjustments.
Analyse client risk and assist with placement schematics in collaboration with Brokers and Producers.
Maintain client records, ensure compliance with FCA standards, and uphold Contract Certainty.
Liaise with international offices, underwriters, and internal technical teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Diary subjectivities/premium payment warranties and conditions and liaise with client and Broker to ensure they are complied with.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements.
Minimum 7 years’ experience handling Worldwide Open Market Property business.
Strong understanding of international regulatory and tax requirements (Crystal knowledge preferred).
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Electronic Placement systems, and Total Objects/GXB.
Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship management skills.
Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing complex workloads independently.
