A specialist consultancy is seeking a highly motivated Client Development Manager to join its growing team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional with strong technical and commercial skills to lead client engagement and manage complex projects across the built environment, with a particular focus on the buildings sector.

As a Client Development Manager, you will work closely with engineering and consulting teams to deliver technical solutions, strengthen client relationships, and identify opportunities for new business. This role would suit an experienced Project Manager, Technical Consultant, or engineering professional ready to step into a commercial and client-facing position.

Duties for the role of Client Development Manager include:

Leading client engagement and business development activities

Preparing proposals, negotiating fees, and managing client expectations

Working with engineers and architects to resolve technical challenges

Supporting business growth through strategic development initiatives

Skills and experience required for the role of Client Development Manager:

Degree in engineering, environmental science, or related discipline

7+ years of experience in consulting engineering, planning, or project management

Strong track record of developing and maintaining client relationships

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced consultancy environment
