Corporate Front of House Officer
Great opportunity to work as a Front of House Receptionist for G4S, a leading global security and outsourcing group, specialising in outsourcing of business processes in sectors where security and safety risks are considered a strategic threat.
G4S is recruiting for a Front of House Receptionist to work in London.
You must have a valid SIA to be considered for this role.
The rate of pay is £19.17 per hour.
This is up a Fixed Term Contract for Maternity cover until May 2026. You will be working Monday to Friday on a rotational shift pattern.
The hours of work will be:
- 7:00am to 3:00pm
- 8:00am to 4:00pm
- 10:00am-6:00pm
Your Time at Work
As a Front of House Receptionist and first point of contact for customers, you are the key to providing that welcoming first and lasting impression to our guests.
A good receptionist has a warm and friendly demeanor. They are team players and effective communicators. They must be highly organized and use their eye for quality to provide the highest level of hospitality when working on reception.
You will have the following responsibilities:
- Welcome guests to the venue, making them feel comfortable, important and at home
- Greet customers during their departure
- Seat guests in waiting area while awaiting host
- Communicate wait times to guests
- Monitor queue and assist waiting staff/guests when needed
- Based on needs or visit purpose guide guests/staff to reception or ID Unit desk
- Address customer queries
- As a part of proactive approach, offer cloakroom for coats and/or luggage
- When/if possible (not engaged with other guests), assist with side door opening
- Tend to special Guest needs and requests
- Maintain a clean reception area
- Any other duties that may be required from time to time for the smooth running of the business
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. A good IT knowledge is also key.

Previous Corporate Receptionist experience and a valid SIA is desirable.
