A small, inclusive independent school in Camden Town for girls aged 3 to 11.

We seek to appoint a highly motivated, inspirational and determined leader in the role of Deputy Head Strategy and Operations to join the staff of our unique, friendly and highly regarded GSA and IAPS School from September 2026. The successful candidate will work together with the Head and other senior leaders to ensure that the school provides an excellent education and offers outstanding pastoral support for all its pupils. They will be expected to support a culture that enables all pupils and staff to excel.

The new Deputy Head Strategy and Operations will deputise for the Head in her absence and carry responsibility for the operational running of the school. They will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team, playing a key role in whole-school strategic planning. They should feel passionate about staff and pupil development and be innovative in their approach to leading whole-school initiatives. One of our school aims is to foster a lifelong love of learning and this aim underpins all that we do. Being an all-girls’ school, we are committed to ensuring that our girls remain grounded whilst developing the skills to go out into the world and make a difference to others. We are seeking to appoint a candidate who continues to shape and strengthen this vision.

Visits by prior arrangement to the school are welcomed and encouraged and will give you an opportunity to meet informally with our Head.

The closing date for applications is 9am on Monday 23rd February, although applications will be processed as they are received.

1st stage interviews will take place on Monday 2nd March, with 2nd stage interviews taking place on Monday 9th March. References will be requested for candidates invited for an interview prior to the 1st stage date.
