Chief Financial Officer

Boutique Law firm based in the City of London seek a Chief Financial Officer on a interim basis.

Key responsibilities include:

• Financial Planning and Strategy : Developing and managing comprehensive budgets and financial forecasts to guide the firm's financial strategy.
• Budgeting and Forecasting : Overseeing the budgeting process and forecasting financial performance to ensure the firm's financial health.
• Strategic Planning : Aligning financial goals with the firm's long–term strategy to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
• Performance Monitoring : Regularly reviewing financial statements and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the firm's financial health.
• Compliance Reporting : Ensuring accurate and timely submission of financial reports required by regulatory bodies and industry standards.
• Cash Flow Management : Overseeing cash flow to maintain operational liquidity and support day–to–day operations.
• Investment Oversight : Evaluating investment opportunities and managing capital allocation to maximize returns and support strategic initiatives.
• Risk Management : Identifying and mitigating financial risks, including market fluctuations and economic uncertainties.
• Compliance and Internal Controls : Implementing and monitoring internal controls to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Technology Integration : Overseeing the implementation and management of financial software and systems to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Data Security : Ensuring the security and confidentiality of financial data, particularly when working with remote teams and cloud–based systems.
• Leadership and Collaboration : Acting as a key advisor to senior partners, guiding decisions that impact both the financial and operational success of the firm.

Ideal Candidate must have the following:

Candidates must come from a legal background and currently hold a role as Finance Director or CFO with at least 10 years plus experience.
