The Opportunity

We are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Senior Sales Executive/ Sales Manager (depending on experience) to join our award-winning Industrial Processing Portfolio and play a key role in the continued growth of StocExpo, the world's leading tank storage and future fuels event.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proven sales professional who thrives on winning new business, building long-term client relationships, and delivering revenue growth. We are also open to those from recruitment agency backgrounds. You'll be responsible for driving exhibition, sponsorship, advertising, and digital revenue across a portfolio of market-leading international events and media brands.

We're looking for someone with a genuine hunter mentality—someone who enjoys opening new doors, identifying opportunities, and converting prospects into long-term clients. Alongside new business development, you'll manage and grow an established customer base, ensuring strong retention and year-on-year rebook rates.

This role is ideal for an experienced Sales Executive ready to take the next step in their career or an Account Manager/Key Account Manager looking for a more commercially focused sales position with significant earning potential. You'll benefit from one of the strongest commission structures in the industry, extensive training and development opportunities, and clear progression pathways within Easyfairs.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to win new business across the portfolio.

  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking and market research.

  • Generate revenue through exhibition space, sponsorship, advertising and digital opportunities.

  • Consistently exceed individual sales targets and KPIs.

Account Management & Client Retention
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients.

  • Maximise customer retention and drive year-on-year rebook revenue.

  • Build strong, consultative relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.

  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across the wider portfolio.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure clients achieve strong ROI from their participation.

Event & Industry Engagement
  • Attend industry events, competitor exhibitions and client meetings both in the UK and internationally.

  • Represent the portfolio as a trusted industry partner and ambassador.

  • Develop a strong understanding of industry trends, market developments and customer needs.

  • Work closely with marketing, operations and content teams to support successful event delivery and campaign execution.

Collaboration & Portfolio Growth
  • Contribute ideas and market intelligence to support the strategic growth of the portfolio.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver best-in-class customer experiences.

  • Take ownership of your territory, pipeline and revenue performance.

What Success Looks Like
  • Consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets.

  • Securing new exhibitors, sponsors and advertisers.

  • Maintaining high client retention and rebook rates.

  • Building a strong network of industry contacts and decision-makers.

  • Contributing directly to the continued growth and success of StocExpo and the wider Industrial Processing Portfolio.

  • Becoming a recognised face within the industry through regular event attendance and client engagement.

Essential Criteria:

  • 3-4+ years' experience in a sales, account management/key account management, recruitment agency or business development role.

  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong new business development skills with the ability to identify and convert opportunities.

  • Experience managing client accounts and building long-term commercial relationships.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Self-motivated, proactive and target-driven mindset.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced commercial environment with clear KPIs.

  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Preferred Criteria:

  • Experience within the exhibitions, events, conferences or media sectors is strongly preferred.

  • Experience selling exhibition space, sponsorship, advertising or media solutions.

  • International sales or account management experience.

  • Experience managing key accounts and complex sales cycles.

  • Knowledge or exposure to industrial processing, energy, manufacturing or related sectors.

  • Recruitment consultants or agency sales professionals with strong new business and relationship management experience will also be considered.

  • Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.

What We Offer
  • Competitive base salary plus one of the industry's most rewarding uncapped commission structures.

  • International travel opportunities.

  • Comprehensive onboarding, sales training and ongoing professional development.

  • Access to Easyfairs' internal learning and development programmes.

  • Clear career progression pathways within a growing international organisation.

  • Promotion and advancement reviews twice per year, ensuring high performers are recognised and rewarded.

  • Opportunity to work on globally recognised market-leading brands.
