Archive Manager
- Coordination and management of the archive inventory across all product categories, split into founders personal archive & business archive.
- Collaborate with the PR sample team at end of sample season to separate items for archive
- Ensure proper care of inventory products of key custom and celebrity items
- Maintenance of archive inventory on Fashion GPS
- Continue to lead the archive re-organization project over several teams under the Storage Director
- Travel required on a weekly basis to Biggleswade, Bedfordshire to visit Archive
- Organise and catalogue archive items, ensuring they are easily accessible for research and inspiration
- Work with the creative and design teams to identify key pieces and collections to be featured in upcoming projects when requested
- Proactively research preservation techniques to ensure all garments are stored in best practice manner to prevent damage or deterioration
- Coordinate the loan of archive items for projects such as museum exhibitions, ensuring that all necessary arrangements and contracts are in place and logged formally
- Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for utilising the archives
- Ability to handle items in diverse formats and conditions as necessary to the role in accordance with procedures relating to manual handling and working at height.
- Familiarity with best practice for garment preservation and conservation desired
- Some manual handling of lifting and carrying boxes and garment clothing bags
- Able to work in different environments - office and warehouse locations
- Previous experience using Fashion GPS desired
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Highly organised and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to project manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Great communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Self-starter, able to carry out methodical work
- Ability to work unsupervised and as a member of a team.
