Garment Technologist in City of London
Job description
We are seeking an experienced Womenswear Garment Technologist to take ownership of the outerwear and denim categories, for a highly successful and distinctive Brand.
The successful candidate will ensure premium fit, construction, and quality from concept to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead fit sessions and manage the critical path
- Develop and maintain specs, blocks, and grade rules
- Ensure compliance with testing and performance standards
- Collaborate with Design and Buying to balance creativity, quality, and margin
- Support and mentor junior technologists
Candidate requirements:
- Relevant and extensive garment technology experience, ideally in outerwear, denim, or leather
- Excellent knowledge of construction techniques, grading, and manufacturing processes
- High attention to detail and proficiency in PLM and Excel
- A collaborative mindset with confidence to influence cross-functional teams
