Assistant Marketing Manager

The Role
We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Marketing Manager to support the Marketing Director in leading a dynamic and fast-paced marketing department. You will play a key role in shaping and delivering the marketing strategy while overseeing two direct reports. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within an established and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the Marketing Director to deliver integrated marketing initiatives across all channels.
- Line manage and mentor the Marketing Executive team, supporting their development and performance.
- Oversee paid search, SEO, display and broader digital marketing activity in collaboration with appointed media agencies.
- Monitor, analyse and report on marketing performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Buffer Plan, continually optimising activity.
- Support the planning and delivery of trade and consumer events/exhibitions, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and strong ROI.
- Assist with e-commerce activity, working with UK E-commerce Managers to ensure consistent and impactful brand communication.
- Provide marketing support to the UK retail sales team, creating effective retailer-focused campaigns and collateral.
Knowledge & Experience Required
- Proven digital and social media marketing experience.
- Experience managing agencies, including PR and media.
- Strong attention to detail, with drive and ambition.
- Solid understanding of both digital and offline marketing channels, including PPC, SEO and display.
- Excellent numeracy, literacy, ICT and communication skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Degree or equivalent professional marketing qualification (e.g., CIM).
- Self-sufficient with the ability to contribute fresh ideas and initiatives.

Additional Information
This is a key management role with excellent scope for progression. The successful candidate will attend meetings with retail customers as required. Direct and motivate external agencies and suppliers, ensuring work is delivered to brief and on deadline
