Thriving Investments is a socially conscious fund manager focused on the living sector. We invest across a range of housing tenures that deliver market returns to investors alongside meaningful social impact. We currently manage over 5,300 homes representing £1.1bn of assets under management, with ambitious plans to grow to £5bn+ through the launch of new funds and the expansion of existing portfolios.  

Thriving Investments is growing our affordable housing activity, including building new partnerships across the sector. This role will involve providing high-quality administrative and project support to help support that growth, working closely with colleagues across Thriving Investments, our parent organisation, Places for People, and with external stakeholders.

More about your role

As a Project Administrator, you'll provide high-quality administrative and project support across a range of workstreams, stakeholders and partner organisations. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects, meetings and governance activities run smoothly by coordinating diaries, managing meeting logistics, maintaining action trackers and supporting the delivery of project priorities.

Working closely with senior leaders, external partners and internal teams, you'll prepare agendas and meeting papers, take accurate minutes, track actions and support timely decision-making. You'll also coordinate events, workshops and face-to-face meetings, manage project documentation and support approval processes.

In addition, you will help prepare briefings, reports and presentations and help ensure there is clear communication on project progress and priorities across the housing associations involved and with internal senior stakeholders. The work on the project is varied and there will be opportunities for you to contribute to wider workstreams, including on the policies and organisational design of the organisation we are setting up.

You'll continually look for opportunities to improve processes and maximise the use of Microsoft 365 tools and AI to support collaboration and effective project delivery.

Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience providing administration, project coordination or project support within a busy, complex and fast-paced organisation.
  • Experience coordinating multiple meetings, actions, deadlines and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience preparing agendas, meeting packs, minutes and action trackers, with responsibility for monitoring follow-up actions.
  • Experience supporting senior stakeholders, partners or leadership teams through effective administration and meeting coordination.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience working within the housing, property, real estate or wider built environment sector.
  • Demonstrable experience leveraging AI and emerging technologies to enhance business processes, drive efficiencies and support data-informed decision making .

More about you

You'll be an organised and proactive administrator with experience supporting projects, programmes or busy operational teams. You'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring actions are completed to agreed deadlines.

You'll have excellent attention to detail and be confident producing professional documentation, maintaining accurate records and supporting meetings from planning through to follow-up. Experience working with senior stakeholders and building positive working relationships will help you succeed in this role.

Most importantly, you'll enjoy working collaboratively, taking ownership of your workload and finding practical solutions that contribute to successful project outcomes.
