Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor

Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor needed in the City of London, London close to, Camden, Westminster, Surrey, Croydon, Essex, Kent, Bedfordshire and Canary Wharf.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to join a highly respected team, overseeing mechanical, electrical, and public health elements across a portfolio of diverse construction projects. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of commercial responsibilities, ensuring financial success and smooth project delivery from pre-construction through to final account.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead all commercial and financial aspects of MEP projects from inception to completion.

* Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates, budgets, and monthly financial reports.

* Manage procurement, subcontractor negotiations, and contract administration.

* Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Clients to ensure delivery meets expectations and agreed targets.

* Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions where necessary.

* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior Quantity Surveyors within the team.

Essential Experience

* Proven background as an MEP Quantity Surveyor with progression into a senior role.

* Strong track record delivering projects in the £3m – £8m range, typically within the fit-out, commercial, or residential sectors.

* In-depth understanding of mechanical, electrical, and public health systems.

* Excellent knowledge of standard forms of contract (NEC / JCT).

* Ability to work autonomously whilst contributing as part of a wider team.
