Content & Production Assistant

Our Influencers is a brand-new content series dedicated to celebrating the people who make Britain a better place. We’re taking to the streets to find inspiring everyday people whose kindness, resilience, passion or actions have made a genuine difference to the lives of others. Through real conversations and storytelling, we want to shine a light on the people who deserve their flowers — whether they have 10 followers or 100,000.

We’re looking for a confident, friendly, proactive Content & Production Assistant to support the creation of Our Influencers. The successful applicant will work alongside the team on filming days, primarily across London, helping us approach and speak to members of the public, discover brilliant stories and keep shoots running smoothly. This is a hands-on role; therefore, suitable applicants will need to be comfortable approaching new people, starting conversations and representing Our Inspo positively and professionally.

Overall, this is an opportunity to join Our Influencers at the beginning and gain practical experience in content production, interviewing and storytelling while helping us build a series centred around celebrating extraordinary everyday people.

The role will initially be approximately two Saturdays per month, with a maximum of 10 hours per month, paid at £14 per hour. All agreed work-related travel expenses will be covered.

What the Content & Production Assistant will be doing:

• Supporting street interviews and filming days across London.
• Approaching and speaking with members of the public.
• Helping us identify interesting, inspiring people and stories.
• Gathering relevant contact details and story information from potential contributors.
• Supporting the team with release forms and contributor information.
• Keeping clear production notes during filming.
• Helping with general production tasks to make sure filming days run smoothly.
• Representing Our Inspo in a warm, professional and approachable way.

What Our Influencers is looking for:

• Years of production experience aren't needed – we’re more interested in finding someone who is confident, organised, curious, and brilliant with people.
• Comfortable talking to strangers, asking questions and making people feel at ease.
• Most importantly, you should believe in what Our Influencers is about: celebrating real people and recognising the positive influence happening in our communities every day.
• An interest in content creation, media, journalism, television, radio or production would be a bonus.
