Nanny-Housekeeper from Monday to Friday, Job ID J1C5C4
A lovely family in Notting Hill, London is looking for a full-time nanny-housekeeper to provide attentive care for their newborn, expected to arrive in October 2025. They’re seeking a responsible and nurturing professional with solid experience in newborn care, who can also manage household tasks smoothly.
Key duties include general childcare, keeping the home clean and organised, and cooking for the family—especially batch-prepared meals, ideally with a background in European cuisine. The role also includes occasionally feeding the family cat. A valid first aid qualification is required for this role.
Working hours: Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week on a flexible schedule
Duties include:
- Drop off, pick up to school and other activities
- Assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles for infants
- Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
- Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Helping with family meals, meal planning, shopping and cooking
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and replacing linens as needed
- Cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
Although the family prefers a live-out setup, they are open to considering live-in candidates for the right person. Knowledge of French or Spanish would be a bonus, but English-speaking applicants are equally welcome.
They hope to find someone to join them in October 2025 and look forward to meeting warm and caring candidates.
