Barista
Boxcar Hyde Park / Bread & Wine is thriving, and we’re looking for a full-time barista to join our growing team. We’re searching for someone who brings great energy, a genuine smile, and a warm welcome for every guest. If you love great coffee, beautiful pastries, and creating a lively, friendly atmosphere as much as we do, we’d love to hear from you.
As a Barista You Will:
Provide friendly and efficient service to our guests
Work collaboratively with your team to ensure smooth operations and deliver outstanding experiences
Learn and master all aspects of our menu
Be confident in executing orders in a fast and efficient manner
Embrace the spirit of teamwork, supporting your colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment

Compak grinders (with a Mythos on the way)
Bespoke, small-batch coffee from Reads Coffee Roasters, rotating regularly for variety.

What We’re Looking For in a Barista:
A great attitude
A passion for coffee and service
Skilled with latte art skills (heart, Rosetta, tulip)
Ability to adjust grinder and dial in to set recipe
Confident working a til system and recommending items to guests
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Focus on delivering exceptional guest service
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. it's really important that you have weekend availability as that's a buzzing time for us.
