Premises Manager
A successful Mixed Secondary School in the London Borough of Greenwich is seeking an experienced Premises Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of its school site on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and experienced individual to play a key role in ensuring that the school's buildings, facilities and grounds remain safe, secure and maintained to an exceptional standard. The successful candidate will lead the premises team while supporting the wider operational success of the school.
You will be responsible for managing planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, site security, contractor supervision, cleaning operations and statutory compliance. Working closely with the School Business Manager and Senior Leadership Team, you will ensure the site operates efficiently while identifying opportunities to improve the learning environment.
Responsibilities include managing maintenance schedules, monitoring health and safety compliance, supervising contractors, coordinating servicing programmes, maintaining compliance records and overseeing premises budgets.
You will also ensure facilities are fully prepared for examinations, parents' evenings, performances, lettings and community events while supporting future estate improvement projects.
The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, strong organisational abilities and previous experience managing school or commercial premises.

Requirements
• Previous Premises or Facilities Management experience
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation
• Experience managing contractors and maintenance programmes
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills
• Budget management experience desirable
• Good practical maintenance knowledge
• Ability to prioritise workloads effectively
• Commitment to maintaining a safe learning environment
