About our Ambassador Programmes

Our student ambassador network is designed to help brands build authentic, on-the-ground connections with early talent. We work with both students already engaged in a brand’s early talent pipeline, such as returning interns, as well as those newly introduced to the organisation, equipping them to represent the brand with credibility and confidence.

By activating ambassadors across campuses and online, we enable brands to tap into highly engaged student networks, extending their reach through trusted, peer-to-peer advocacy. For many students, ambassadors are a first introduction to a company’s culture and values - making them a critical touchpoint in shaping perception and driving interest.

Within the team, this means building, training, and supporting a high-performing community of ambassadors who feel genuinely connected to the brands they represent, ensuring consistent, high-quality engagement across all activities.

In a landscape where authenticity drives impact, Wiser Academy plays a key role in helping brands show up meaningfully through the voices of students who know and believe in them.

What's this role all about?

As an Academy Associate, your primary responsibility will be supporting the team to ensure the smooth running of our ambassador programmes. This will play a key role in delivering high-impact programmes that connect brands with early talent in an authentic, meaningful way. You’ll support the core operations that keep programmes running smoothly - from recruiting standout ambassadors to maintaining strong day-to-day delivery.

You’ll support ambassador recruitment; helping to screen, assess, and interview candidates to build engaged, high-quality communities. You’ll help ensure training days run seamlessly. Monthly, you’ll ensure ambassadors are paid accurately and on time, and all communications are clear, timely, and effective.

You’ll help keep programmes running at pace - managing queries, maintaining consistent engagement, and ensuring activity is delivered to a high standard. By staying close to social media trends and the evolving early talent landscape, you’ll help shape monthly activity that feels relevant, creative, and aligned to brand goals.
What will you spend your time doing?
  • You’ll manage ambassador communications across multiple channels, ensuring updates, deadlines, and key moments are delivered clearly and consistently.

  • You’ll track ambassador activity and process monthly payments, ensuring any issues or queries are handled promptly and efficiently.

  • You’ll support the creation of engaging content and key touchpoints across the Academy experience - from training sessions and competitions to monthly checklists, along with innovative tools such as personalised GPTs.

  • You’ll track and analyse programme performance, using data such as average hours, year-on-year comparisons, and social media reporting to understand impact and identify opportunities to improve.

  • You’ll prepare agendas for weekly client meetings, capture clear notes during each session, and follow up on key actions to ensure progress and accountability.

  • You’ll contribute to internal and client-facing updates, turning performance data into clear, compelling storytelling that demonstrates programme success.

  • You’ll support continuous improvements across the ambassador programmes, helping to refine processes and enhance programme delivery over time.

What are we looking for?
  • Someone who’s excited by the opportunity to support our ambassador programmes, continuously improving how we deliver for both ambassadors and brands.

  • Confidence working with data and tools like Google Sheets and Slides, with the ability to translate numbers into clear, actionable insights.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone across different audiences - from student ambassadors to internal stakeholders.

  • Experience in community management, customer support, or similar environments - or the ability to stay organised, responsive, and positive in a fast-paced setting.

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple programmes and priorities at once.

  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset, always looking for ways to improve and bring new ideas to the table.

  • Someone who enjoys building relationships and creating positive experiences, whether with ambassadors or within the team.

What's in it for you?
  • A Happiness team whose role is to make Wiser the best place to work possible. Whether it’s keeping the office stocked up with snacks, sending you a care package when you’re poorly, or planning the next Wiser party, they make the office a much happier place

  • A culture calendar full of options - from black tie to sports day, book club or run club, there’s something for everyone.

  • We’re pretty proud of the space we have here - from phone booths to walking pads, all the way to a rainforest for focus-time… whatever vibe you need, you can find it here.

  • The W breakfast - our Happiness team makes sure everyone starts the day right with a hotel-worthy breakfast spread. Fancy coffee tap and unlimited fizzies on offer too.

  • On top of your holiday allowance, the office also closes for up to 2 weeks over the festive period so we can all recharge before coming back in the new year.

  • Wiser Bank Holiday - a beloved Purple People tradition in the form of an extra day off in October each year to celebrate our first ever million-pound-month (Yep, it happened in 2022 and we still celebrate)

  • Moving House Day - one of life’s most stressful events made easier by an extra day off.

  • Work from Anywhere - everyone has a number of days to work from home or wherever they fancy. Whether it’s staying home to snuggle your cat or working from Greece for a week in the summer, WFA is the answer.

  • Learning & development - our monthly ‘Wiser Way’ days give you the chance to choose from a selection of training modules taught by our leaders. Whether it’s how to craft the perfect deck with our Creative Director, how to speak confidently about commercials with our CFO, or get some tips on managing for the first time with our Head of People, the schedule has something for everyone

  • Therapy - with 5 therapists to choose from, each year you can get up to x3 therapy sessions subsidised through Wiser to take either here in our own secret Log Cabin, externally or online (you pay £20 a session and we cover the rest)

  • Vitality Health Insurance - full coverage once you’ve passed probation. From necessities like the dentist, doctors and opticians, to mega rewards like Champneys, gym and travel discounts, it’s a winner.

  • Gymbox - once passing probation, you can access our exclusive Wiser x Gymbox partnership where you can bag your Gymbox membership for less than half price.
