KAYALI Visual Merchandising Manager (UK/EU)
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Support in delivering Kayali VM strategy to maximize brand awareness and visibility within the markets across all customer & community facing executions
- The Visual Merchandising Manager uses broad expertise and unique knowledge to develop and lead the most complex projects, from scoping, to implementation and deployment where needed
- Support in the creative conception, implementation and execution of all VM assets for new launches including but not limited to; gondola updates, promotional sites, retailer windows, podiums, pop-ups, event space design, lightboxes and in-store screen content for all doors in a timely manner working closely with the Global teams to ensure consistent launch messaging across the estate
- Apply a strong creative eye to select, adapt, and re-size assets for multiple formats and executions.
- Produce fast and accurate re-sizing or revisions of existing concepts, including gondola artwork, animation artwork, presentations etc
- Collaborate with Global Marketing, Design and Creative teams, and other stakeholders across the business to ensure cohesive brand execution.
- Responsible for facilitating discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution with suppliers, retailers and regions for each project
- Management of UK/EU VM master databases, forecasts, calendars, planograms and file libraries
- Have technical knowledge of print and production build techniques, and mindfulness of budget restrictions, environmental issues and project lead times
- Close management of ongoing projects from design to execution
- Carry out and instruct store visits to ensure a consistently high level of execution across all VM
- Be aware of our competitor's marketing campaigns, VM updates, new trends in design and digital innovations
- Budget management. Support with VM budgets across projects, including forecasting, allocation, purchase orders, and reconciliations. Ensure cost efficiency through vendor negotiations while upholding creative and brand standards.
- Proficient and confident in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign & Illustrator or PhotoShop) and Microsoft Office; 3D software skills (SketchUp, 3DS Max, etc.) are a plus.
- Strong project manager, with great time management skills and an ability to handle multiple projects and deliverables in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated critical-thinking, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Works well independently and within a team environment
- Advanced understanding of process and project management tools.
- Ability to initiate and manage cross-functional teams and multi-disciplinary projects
- Ability to develop and maintain a detailed project plan, including the ability to organize and track tasks and dependencies across multiple projects
- Detailed understanding of technical build and production to support across design and delivery functions.
- Ability to assimilate information quickly and understand how it affects the project
- Ability to proactively identify issues and provide resolution in a timely fashion
- Ability to identify improvements to processes and procedures over time
- Adaptable and tolerant of stressful situations. Ability to be a calming force to the overall project team, resolve conflicts and leady-by-example to deliver the project
