Senior Quantity Surveyor – Heritage Construction / Façade Restoration

Central London Projects, Up to £80,000 + Travelcard + Bonus

Join a leading specialist contractor with over 30 years’ experience in heritage restoration, façade refurbishment, and listed building conservation across Central London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or ambitious Quantity Surveyor looking to step up, working on some of London’s most prestigious period properties and listed landmarks.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor Role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll oversee the commercial delivery of multiple high-end heritage and façade restoration projects. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you’ll take responsibility for:

Leading the financial management of live projects from pre-start to final account

Preparing budgets, sub-contract orders, valuations, and variations

Managing procurement and working closely with contracts and logistics teams

Maintaining accurate cost control and project reporting

Attending site meetings and liaising with clients, consultants, and suppliers

Supporting the wider commercial strategy with future progression to Commercial Manager

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

5–7 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Background in main contracting, heritage, conservation, or façade works

Excellent commercial awareness, budgeting, and valuation skills

Confident communicator across site and client teams

Self-motivated with strong attention to detail

RICS or CIOB membership (or working towards) desirable

Salary:

Up to £80,000 (DOE)

Travelcard allowance

Bonus:

Discretionary, circa 5%

Holidays:

20–25 days + bank holidays + Christmas shutdown

Pension:

3% employer contribution
